ABOUT MATT

Matt Spritz was born and raised in South Florida. Matt has deep roots in the community, as he and his family have been committed to public service in Florida for three generations.

Matt graduated Phi Beta Kappa with high honors from Emory University in 2005, after which Matt attended NYU Law School in New York City, where he went on to practice corporate law for a global law firm.  However, while up north, Florida was never far from Matt’s mind, and with that, Matt moved home, where he was reunited with his family, friends, and the community he cares so much about. Matt spent several more years practicing law in South Florida, before he decided to venture into public service.

Most recently, Matt served as a legislative aide in the Florida House of Representatives, where he gained tremendous insights into key issues facing our state, including: combating the terrible opioid crisis gripping Florida; encouraging school choice initiatives; enforcing the rule of law and ending sanctuary cities; and supporting our business community by shrinking the size of government and promoting pro-growth economic policies that cut taxes, create jobs, and eliminate red tape across Florida’s economy.

Matt resides in Boca Raton, near Mizner Park, where he is involved in a number of community organizations. Matt has risen to fill critical leadership roles in several organizations, including the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and AIPAC, among others. He is also a Rotarian, and a member of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.

Matt is a principled conservative who is ready to lead on his first day in office.  He will bring his deep commitment to community service, comprehensive legal and policy experience, and tireless work ethic to Tallahassee as our next State Representative!
